After almost two years elapsing since allegations of transphobia were made by two members of the public, the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) disciplinary hearing regarding nurse Amy Hamm began on September 21, 2022. The BCCNM had also added an allegation of disseminating "medical misinformation" but quietly dropped the charge prior to the start of the hearing.
The first three days of the hearing wrapped up on September 23 and will resume on October 24.
While independent media is covering the hearing, no mainstream publication has picked up the story to date.
